American Idol is a laughingstock. Melinda will do exactly what Daughtry did: Get the shaft and go on to be a megastar. She was much better than the rest IMO.

If they are going to go on the pretense of a SINGING competition... Heck, they could have "marketed" Antonella and Haley. No doubt Doolittle will have the last laugh.

There is no doubt she will do well but her main audience will be mainly those over the age of 30. There won't be too many 13-29 year olds buying her album. Blake and Jordin would appeal more towards that market.

And the jackass that won last year was more marketable than Daughtry, Bucky or Kellie Pickler.

I don't know why I even care at all since I have never watched the show anyway.

Im a hug efan of Kelly Clarkson, honestly. She can sing, her songs are catchy, super easy to play on guitar and very fun as well. Its not odd to find a burnt cd with Pantera, Slayer, DOWN and Kelly CLarkson in my vehicle lol.

I just cant see why people got so nuts over this show. I think I watched 5 minutes of one episode once and I thought it was the stupidest thing I'd ever seen. I mean, wow there's a bunch of dumb asses on tv singing, I can go to walmart and be more entertained by the idiots that hang out there on friday and saturday nights that make it a nightmare to have to go in there for anything.

Well maybe some poeple don't like the shows you watch.

Some of those "dumb asses" are making millions of dollars right now because of the show so I wouldn't say they think it is the "stupidest thing ever".
